What is a Chrisitan Networking Group? | The Leaders' Table
What Is a Christian Business Networking Group?
If you've ever walked away from a networking event with a stack of business cards but no real relationships, you're not alone.
Networking has become synonymous with elevator pitches, referrals, and collecting as many contacts as possible before the meeting ends. While those things have their place, I don't believe that's how meaningful business growth happens.
A Christian business networking group isn't simply a place to market your business. At its best, it's a community where relationships come before transactions, encouragement comes before competition, and women sharpen one another as leaders.
That's the vision behind The Leaders' Table.

More Than Networking
When I first began dreaming about The Leaders' Table, I wasn't interested in creating another organization where women stood in line to deliver a sixty-second commercial and hoped someone remembered their name.
I wanted to create something I believed was missing.
I wanted a place where Christian women could pull up a chair and know they belonged. A place where conversations mattered more than commercials, curiosity mattered more than competition, and leadership mattered more than self-promotion.
Business opportunities are important, but they shouldn't be the only reason we gather.
The greatest opportunities in my own career haven't come from someone hearing my elevator pitch. They've come from relationships that were built over time—relationships where trust was established long before business was ever discussed.
That's why I often say The Leaders' Table is more than networking. It's a place to be sharpened.
What Makes a Christian Business Networking Group Different?
There are wonderful networking organizations throughout the country, and many of them help business owners grow.
A Christian business networking community is built on something deeper than exchanging referrals.
It's built on shared values. That doesn't mean everyone has the same experiences or perspectives. It means we believe business is about more than making money. It's about stewardship, serving people well, leading with integrity, and honoring God in the way we build relationships and grow our businesses.
Those values shape the conversations we have and the culture we create.
Relationships Create Opportunities
One of the biggest misconceptions about networking is that every conversation should lead to a customer. I don't believe that's true. Some of the most valuable conversations you'll ever have won't result in an immediate sale.
Instead, they may become:
a trusted referral partner
a future collaboration
a friendship
an opportunity you never could have planned
encouragement you needed at exactly the right time
Relationships have a way of multiplying over time. That's why I encourage women to stop asking, "Who can become my next client?" Instead, start asking, "Who can I genuinely get to know?" When you approach networking from that perspective, everything changes. And ironically, business often grows because you're no longer chasing it.
Community Changes the Way You Lead
Building a business can be lonely. There are decisions no one else sees, challenges no one else understands, and moments when you wonder if you're the only one struggling.
You're not.
One of the greatest gifts of community is realizing you don't have to carry leadership alone. The right room gives you:
encouragement when business feels heavy
wisdom from women who've walked ahead of you
accountability to keep growing
honest conversations
meaningful relationships that last beyond a monthly meeting
I believe every Christian woman in business deserves that kind of community.
Why I Created The Leaders' Table
For years, I watched talented women attend networking meetings hoping to grow their businesses.
I wanted to create something different - not just another networking organization.
A table. A place where Christian women gather to encourage one another, think bigger, lead better, and faithfully steward the businesses God has entrusted to them.
I believe businesses grow through relationships because I've lived it.
