More Than Networking: Why I Created The Leaders' Table

There wasn't a moment when I woke up and decided to start another networking group.

In fact, that was exactly what I didn't want to create...and I negotiated with God for about 2 years.

There are already plenty of places to exchange business cards, give a sixty-second commercial, and hope someone remembers your name. So many of those rooms seat successful women in business and I wanted a space where I could ask them questions, pray for them and collaborate more.

I wanted something different than what I was finding out there.

I wanted to create the kind of community I wished more Christian women had — a place where business owners could gather around a table, encourage one another, challenge one another to grow, and leave stronger than when they arrived.

That's why The Leaders' Table was born.

Business Is Built Through Relationships

Over the years, I've generated and coached more than $42 million in sales (...and still counting).

One thing has remained true regardless of the industry, economy, or business model:

Relationships create opportunities.

Not clever marketing, the perfect elevator pitch, or collecting the most business cards.

Relationships.

Some of the greatest opportunities in my corporate America career and now my own businesses came from relationships that were built over time through trust, consistency, and genuine care.

That's also how more than $2.5 million in sales has been generated in my own business — through intentional relationships.

That's why I believe networking should never be about collecting contacts.

It should be about leading and stewarding relationships.

I Believe God Entrusts Women With Businesses for a Purpose

This isn't just business to me. It's stewardship.

I believe God entrusts women with businesses because He trusts them to serve people, solve problems, create opportunities, provide for their families, and make an impact in their communities.

When women build thriving businesses, everyone benefits.

Families become stronger. Employees are provided for. Communities are served. Churches are supported. Generosity increases.

It's not just what I believe - it's actually been studied.

That's why I care so deeply about helping women succeed.

Success is the byproduct of the impact that women can create.

More Than Networking

When most people hear the word networking, they think about referrals, or sales, or awkward conversations.

That's never been my vision.

The Leaders' Table is about creating a place where Christian women can pull up a chair and know they'll be encouraged, challenged, and welcomed.

It's about

  • Asking better questions.

  • Listening more than talking.

  • Learning from one another.

  • Sharing wisdom.

  • Celebrating wins.

  • Walking through challenges together.

Business opportunities naturally come from those relationships but they are never the starting point.

Why We Gather Around a Table

Throughout Scripture, tables were places where lives changed.

People gathered around tables to learn.

To celebrate.

To receive wisdom.

To extend hospitality.

To challenge one another.

To experience provision.

I wanted to reclaim that picture for business. That picture shapes everything we do.

The table isn't the destination - it's where leaders gather before going back into the world to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to them. That picture shapes everything we do.

It's why we focus on conversations instead of presentations.

It's why relationships always come before opportunities.

A Different Kind of Business Community

You'll hear women laugh around our Tables.

You'll hear them celebrating one another.

You'll hear them asking thoughtful questions.

You'll hear honest conversations about the challenges of leadership.

What you won't find is pressure, competition, or the feeling that everyone is simply waiting for their turn to speak.

That's intentional.

I believe business owners deserve better than transactional networking. They deserve community.

My Prayer for Every Woman Who Pulls Up a Chair

Every time someone joins us, I hope she leaves with more than a handful of new contacts.

I hope she leaves feeling encouraged, more confident, more connected, and more equipped to lead.

I hope she discovers women who celebrate her wins as if they were their own, women who tell her the truth with grace, and women who pray for her when leadership feels heavy.

That's the kind of community I believe every Christian business owner deserves.

Pull Up a Chair

If you've been looking for a place where relationships matter more than transactions…

Where women challenge one another to think bigger, lead better, and steward their businesses well…

I'd love to invite you to experience The Leaders' Table.

Come as our guest. Pull up a chair.

I think you'll quickly discover it's about so much more than networking.

It's about becoming the leader God is calling you to be.
